Privacy policy

This policy covers this website only. Our apps each have their own privacy policy, linked from their Google Play listing.

What we collect

This site has no user accounts, no sign-up and no contact form. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail, and we have no database of visitors.

Cookies

We set one cookie, and only for our own staff: a session cookie that keeps an administrator signed in to the status control panel. Ordinary visitors are never given it.

Third parties

Some third-party services load on these pages and may set their own cookies or collect usage data under their own policies, which we do not control:

• Google AdSense — may use cookies to show advertising. You can manage this at Google Ads Settings.
• Amazon — links to biometric devices on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you follow the link.
• Our hosting provider — keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Server status data

The ONLINE and DOWN state shown on the home page is entered manually by our team. It records nothing about you. It is a convenience, not an official feed, and may be out of date at any moment.
